Back to School Prep made EASY!

Hi everyone! I know I’ve been incredibly MIA lately. I have been joyfully, busily, tremendously enjoying my summer break with my sweet little guy! <3 At a year and a half, our days are filled with endless laughter, chasing, cuddling, and absolute craziness and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I {puffy heart} LOVE being a teacher, and I {BIG puffy heart} LOVE being a mom. Last summer I created this Back to School Pack to make the transition from summer to school mode easier on me, and allow me to spend more time with my little guy.

There is SO much to this pack, so I’m here to show you some pictures and help you see how purchasing this can making Back to School prep quick and easy for you, so you can enjoy your much deserved break!

I have everything you need to set up a beautiful, organized, and efficient Back to School Open House. I spend my Open House time milling about, meeting parents and discussing any important things about their child with them. During this time, my parents move throughout different stations around the classroom. There are SO much ways to set all of this up, but here you can see just a few. 
Some of the things you will see pictured and some not pictured include:
– 3 Step directions sign for parents to follow through the correct stations at Open House
-Direction signs in two different formats (ones for little frames, ones just to make table tents)
-Meet the Teacher Sign (I always fill this out and post it on my door so my parents can learn about me as they are coming in)
-A Getting to know your student info. sheet <— I keep these in an easy to access binder right by my desk because they help me so much throughout the year!
-Multiple permission slips
-A sign-in sheet (I keep this in the front of my lesson planner binder all year. It always takes the office a few weeks to get us all our parent information, so I LOVE having it right away.)
-Magnets with Teacher Contact Info. for parents to pick up and take home with them
-Transportation Tags for parents to fill out so I have them ready for the first day of school
-All about how parent volunteers work in our classroom, and 10 different volunteer sign-up sheets <—these are also great to keep handy in a binder section, and easy to access throughout the year!
-Cute supply list that you can customize to make sure your students get what they need
-Letter template from parents to students for the first day (a lot of my parents will sit down and write their letter to their kiddo while waiting to chat with me—my kiddos LOVE finding these on their desks the first day!)
-Conferences Sign-Up Sheet
-A blank, editable Open House Template Powerpoint that matches the theme! It makes it easy for you to put any at-a-glance info. that you want to present to parents

– My FAVORITE part of this pack and what I get the most compliments on every year is this Parent Handbook Flipbook– parents are always so impressed and tell me they keep it on their fridge all year, and my principal loves that I make these!

– Year Long Quick Reminders<– I keep these in a binder, with an original of each reminder in a sheet protector  for quick photo copy access, and at least 10 copies of it already made in the same sheet protector so I can grab them if I need them quick. I use these so many times throughout the year, and they are a lifesaver in a pinch! There are over 30 reminders in the set and I am always adding more as I find that I need them

-There are also activities for the first day of school such as a fun “Would you Rather” interest inventory that students fill out as I’m taking attendance the first day. I love reading through them and getting to know the kiddos better those first few days. While I collect student supplies, and just try and manage the typical hustle of the first day, my students are working on their “A Summer to Tweet About” craftivity, and making their “All About Me” flip books! These both make GREAT beginning of the year bulletin board displays! 

I have tried to think of everything in this pack to make your life easier! It is a continually growing product, too, because as my needs as a teacher arise, I create and add! 🙂

  12. I really want to thank Dr Emu for saving my marriage. My wife really treated me badly and left home for almost 3 month this got me sick and confused.
