It has been a short long week! These 4 day weeks are never as they seem, are they? Many great things happened this week, here’s just a few π
My kiddos have been working so hard on their Reading Olympians pack! I have so many kiddos wanting to work extra at home so they can move on to the next level! I am so impressed with their vocabulary growth already!
I was able to get in a few good runs before school this week! Getting to run 3 miles in the morning when it is actually nice out is bliss! Thank you spring weather!
Hubs and I enjoyed a nice quiet dinner at home together (doesn’t happen very often because of volleyball!) Since y’all know I LOVE to cook, here was the dinner!
We have also been working tiredlessly on Informational Text skills in my classroom using my pack! My kiddos have come so far and I am so proud of them! Remember, this pack and my nonfiction text features pack are both on sale through today! Pick up your copy for cheaper π
Thanks to the amazing OUTSTANDING and talented Nikki at Melonheadz, I have some awesome The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe clipart! These have now been added to my Lapbook and just make it that much better!

I have also been working soooo hard on a 4th Grade Common Core Aligned Review package! I hope to have it done this weekend and up by next week! I am creating it out of my own need as we prepare for the big test. I would love to hear from some of you what you’d like to see in this pack! After I finish it, I will pick someone who made a suggestion to receive it for free! Comment away please πThose of you that are preparing for standardized tests as well, hopefully you can benefit from it! Check back in Monday and hopefully I will have it done π Thanks for reading everyone! I’m off to a weekend filled with a wedding and volleyball!ο»Ώ
I wish I could get up early and run, well walk I dislike running, I envy you! :). My kids are also still loving their Reading Olympics and making connections to words in all subject areas.

I need to get back to running:/ Since I fell a few weeks ago and tweaked my knee and whatever runs down the outside of my leg, I haven't been able to….it hurts:( We are supposed to go to a beach vball college tourney tomorrow:) Busy day:) Those sandwiches sound heavenly! I am going to have to dig into your reading posts and check out that nonfiction text packet! Our testing starts Monday!!! Ugh!
4th Grade Frolics
I am glad you got some good runs in this week before the Ohio weather turned sour. I actually went out and tried two new trails. It was great! Your sandwich looks delicious. I love artichoke. For suggestions, I can always use new ways to work on main idea and details. Also, cannot get enough practice with affixes!

That sandwich looks so good!!! Gotta get my runs in too – couldn't live without them. Volleyball consumes our life too… I think if you lived out here in sunny CAli…we'd be fast friends.

Traditions, Laughter and Happily Ever After
Gosh, what time does your school start that you can get a run in before work?? I'd have to get up at 4:00 to do that π Looks like a fun weekend!! I hope this weekend is just as nice π
Those packs have been on my wish list on TPT so I should probably go ahead and purchase them. Our BIG TESTS aren't until the end of May! (the agony of waiting!)
As far as the review pack goes for math I think I would like to see as much fractions as possible. Those are such a big chunk of our year!
For ELA my students struggled the most with 4.RI.8, which is about finding evidence in the text. This was especially difficult for my many ESL students.
Off to TPT!

Your informational text skills pack is amazing!! I wish I liked to run because it would sure burn the calories but I just can't do it! You go girl:)

Your week sounded great! I am excited that you have spring in Ohio! I am not sure how because we still have winter! Hope this weekend is great.

Love, love, love that new clipart! She's so talented! I'm also super jealous that you get to workout/run before work. That would be awesome, but as Elizabeth said, I'd have to get up at 4am to be able to do that…and that is not so awesome. π Thanks for linking up your fun week!

Teaching Maddeness
I know, what the heck is with this gross weather now?! We better get sunshine net week :)Thanks so much for the suggestions!
Of course! Hope you're able to put them to good use π Have a wonderful weekend as well!
It was delicious! I couldn't live without running, either! We sure have a lot in common! I can't wait to go and read up on your blog now! Wish we lived closer π

Our kiddos don't come until 8:55 so we don't have to be there until 8:10am. When I taught 6th grade I had to be there by 6:55am so that was rough. Now I can get up at 6 and get a nice run in before I have to go… it is great! π
Amelia
Glad your able to get them for a discount! π I agree… it is AGONY! That stinks that you have to wait so long. Thank you for your suggestions π
Amelia
I used to strongly dislike running until my dad convinced me to run a half marathon! Being a daddy's girl, I couldn't resist.. and since then I've loved it! THANKS π
Amelia
We have a little more of winter weather today :/ It's supposed to warm up again next week, though! Hope you guys get some warm weather, too π
Amelia
Isn't it adorable?! I love everything she does! I lOVE being able to workout before work! I don't have to be there until 8:10 so it is wonderful! I get up at 6 and get a nice workout in and can still get to work by 7:45 π When I taught 6th I had to be there by 6:55am so no workouts for me! It is much better now π
Thanks for leaving some love!
