We reviewed a few skills this week! One of them was the simple task of sequencing! I wanted it to be fun so after finding this pin on Pinterest, I decided to use it! I gave each group a different winter themed book and they read it together and took notes on a graphic organizer.
Then I gave them white paper to cut out their life size snowman, and they worked together to build the beginning, middle, and end sequencing snowman.

Love the sequencing snowmen! They turned out great! Those pictures of the lighthouses are fantastic. I am sure your students were very inspired!

Wow! You accomplished a lot in your short week! I only had two days this week due to snow and it was hard to be motivated. We also had to have our "Christmas" party today since we had a snow day the last day before break. That made for an odd week! I loved reading about all your great activities!

Thank you so much for sweet comment on my blog!!! π
Love those lighthouses!
I love, love , love your idea with the story behind the pictures! I am trying to figure out how to add some writing to my science lab (creative writing, that is) so this gives me something to think about. I also love your snowman sequencing. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my little blog!

Surviving definitely counts! I barely made it myself. ;P I love the sequencing snowmen, I may have to try that out in first grade.
